When I was about 16 years old, so many moons ago. There was this very interesting LFI vulnerability in Apache. you could get the passwd file straight in the ursl bar. This was before shadow was a thing. Had I realized the significance of this, I would have pursued this career more.
But alas, I lost interest since I didn’t know what to do with it. Fast forward about 20 years, I work as a teacher in a small community and am the IT guy. An attack was made on our network due to a student, but that’s another story, however it reminded me of a hacking game I used to play. Lo and behold I find there is a version 2 active, slavehack 2.
Within that game I get to know a guy working as a pentester and he got me interested in the field again. I started watching youtube tutorials, buying udemy courses amd signed up on HTB.
A year later, here I am. Starting this website, getting to know alot of awesome people and having great fun.
